The 1987 Fiesta Bowl pitted two undefeated teams, the #2 ranked Penn State and the #1 ranked Miami, in a contest dubbed "The Game of the Century". The danger of such hype is that the actual game can be a let down. But this game did not disappoint. It was a battle of two talented defenses, but in the end it was five interceptions of Heisman Trophy winner Vinny Testaverde by Nittany Lion defenders that saved the day. More than 52 million people watched the historic game, which is still the most watched college football game of all time with a 25.1 rating.
